Chroma Socks
I made some socks: They have a cute little cable along the backside: I think my old, plaid pajamas pants go very nicely with them, don’t you? One sock was created out of the Chroma Worsted left over from my Gondola Cables Hat, and the other took another half skein, so I’d say these are [...]
Gondola Cables — Free Hat Pattern!
Check out the new hat I just made: It’s a real simple beanie made from far less than one skein of KnitPicks Chroma Worsted in the Galapagos colorway. Check out how much yarn I had left after knitting this bad boy: I’d say I used two-thirds to three-quarters of the skein (I don’t have my [...]
Afraid of changes…
I’m not necessarily afraid of change, but lately I’ve been afraid of changes… changes to my blog, that is. I got hacked. A bunch of times. I think it was my web-host’s fault, but it was a huge pain. I work as a web developer, so I knew how to fix the problems, but that [...]
Noro Iro… drool
Noro Iro. So beautiful. That is all.
NaKniSwe…more or less
Here’s my non-NaKniSweMo jacket. Finished! Hurrah! It’s got pockets! And a hood! (For some reason I thought staring into the mid-day sun was a good idea for that last picture.) Unfortunately, it’s only about 15,000 stitches instead of the 50,000 required by NaKniSweMo, so this is more like an early Christmas present I’m gifting to [...]
New Pattern – Sneak Peek
I finally got to take some pictures of my newest design, a long cabled jacket I’m calling “Knockoff.” (I’ll explain the name later, I promise.) Check it out! More pictures and the pattern to come!
NaKniSwe…not so much
Well, I was planning on designing a new argyle cardigan for this year’s NaKniSweMo, but the fates were against me. This was last year’s cardigan: I liked it well enough (I still wear it all the time), but as far as design went I knew I wanted to revise it before publishing the pattern. First, [...]
Giganto-Blanket FAQ Page
I’ve been fielding a lot of questions about my giganto-blanket lately, so I thought I’d put together a FAQ page for y’all — here the link. If you have any additional questions, feel free to comment on the page and I’ll try to answer them for ya. I hope it’s helpful!
Like Atlas, but with wool
I’m making another giganto-blanket this week. This time I thought it’d be fun to wind all the wool up into one huge ball instead of a few smaller ones. I think it’s really exciting. Molly’s a little skeptical. Have questions about this blanket? Check out the FAQ!
No respect
This is what Molly thinks of my new sweater design: Not much, apparently.
