Okay, enough third person. I really do want to blog more often, but there are three things that get in my way:

1. Lately I’ve had to knit a lot of secret projects that I can’t post online
2. I’ve been out of the country sans regular internet access
3. I’m lazier than all getout

I suppose #3 can be remedied, but the first two are legitimate barriers to blogging.

I do have one or two declassified things to discuss. The first is Panka’s bag:

I finished it on the plane to Budapest, and it turned out very cute for something I made without a pattern or any planning to speak of. Apparently she loves it, and I’ve heard reports that she’s been sleeping with it at night. I’m not sure why she has it around her neck in this picture, but kids will be kids. Isn’t she incredibly adorable?

I also recently treated myself to a selfish, completely unnecessary yarn purchase. I got myself some of this:

Knit Picks’ Felici in the Arugula colorway. I believe I’ll be making my brother a cozy double-knit hat with it. I’ll keep you up to date on that one.

Finally, a picture for the ages:

That would be me and Marge at the Kwik-E-Mart. I got me a Squishee AND and pink donut. I have more pictures if you’d like to see the Kwik-E-Mart in its full glory. Sadly, it’s now turned back into a 7-11. If you haven’t seen The Simpsons Movie yet, get into your car and go see it right now. It’s amazing. I’ve seen it three times already, it’s that good.
