Moving right along

I was able to block the back of my NaKniSweMo Argyle Cardigan last night.

I live in a one-bedroom apartment with two very nosy cats, so it’s difficult to find the space to block an entire sweater all at once. Instead I prefer to block as I go, hiding my drying pieces in my laundry room away from claws and fur.

In case you don’t believe me, here’s what happened when I put down my knitting for 2 seconds to take a picture of my progress:

Magnus really wants to participate, but he doesn’t understand that chewing on my yarn isn’t helpful. That’s the left-front of my cardigan—coming along quite nicely, if I do say so myself!

I’m at that point in a project where I just want to knit all day and all night to get it done, but I have this annoying thing called a “day job” that keeps me from crafting. Yeesh. Such a bummer. 🙂
