Giganto-Blanket
Holy crap. What have I gotten myself into?
Yes, those are broomsticks I’m knitting with. Magnus thinks I’ve lost my mind.
If I haven’t gone bonkers yet, I might tonight, because I’m thinking I have to rip out all my work and start again. My gauge is way too tight. So, the question is, do I split the roving in half and make my “yarn” smaller, or go buy PVC pipe and make my “knitting needles” bigger? I’m leaning towards the latter.
Apparently this is what happens when one has six pounds of wool roving sitting in one’s closet?
A more detailed post is yet to come. In the meantime, wish me godspeed and good luck.

LOVE IT!! You go girl, lol.
I am making this gigantic blanket for my daughter for Christmas as she absolutely loved the one you made. I’ve watched your video and have purchased the roving from the Sheep Shed and am ready to knit. One question…..do I separate the roving or leave into two strands or leave it just one major “chunky” strand?
Thanks for your help.
