Knitting for Japan – 100% of proceeds will be donated to IFRC
To help support the disaster-relief aide so desperately needed in Japan, I’m having a special pattern sale. For the next three days, 100% of the proceeds from my pattern sales will go to the IFRC.
If you buy any of the above patterns before 11:59pm Pacific Time, Friday, March 18, 2011, I’ll donate EVERY SINGLE CENT to help out Japan earthquake and tsunami relief. Or, if you’d like, you can just donate directly yourself.
Check out my full pattern store on Ravelry.
Every little bit helps. Thank you.

I have yarn and knitting supplies such as needles that I am trying to donate to Japan. Do you or anyone else know if there is such a project going on? I know that the Japanese women are wonderful knitters and it would be some kind of comfort to those who lost all their “stash” in the recent tsunami and earthquakes.
Please let me know if this is possible!!
Thanks!
That’s a very good question, Karen! I don’t know of any offhand, but I wonder if the Ravelry group “Japan earthquake: how to help” might have some ideas? http://www.ravelry.com/groups/japan-earthquake-how-to-help
