Nevertheless She Persisted Stripes – New Fabric Design!
Hey folks! I just wanted to let y’all know that I’ve opened up a Spoonflower shop! If you don’t know Spoonflower, it’s a super cool site where anyone can design fabric, wallpaper, and gift wrap.
I’m opening my shop with three variations on the same design that I’m calling “Persisting Stripes” — here’s a photo of Magnus modeling a pillow I made with the white fabric:
I hand-drew a seamless repeat of a cursive “nevertheless, she persisted” and staggered them on the fabric, so it creates a subtle stripe look.
I’m really happy with how the fabric turned out. And with Spoonflower’s partnership with Sprout Patterns, you can get customized patterns printed out just for you. For instance, you could make this adorable dress:
Or, if you’re not feeling crafty, you can just order pre-made home decor items on Roostery. Want a simple pillow? Here you go:
The possibilities are endless! I know I’m going to attempt a simple blouse with the teal version soon! I’ll be sure to post pics when I muster up the courage to sew garments again (my last few attempts were a bit of a let down…)
Do you have any good ideas for things you can make from this fabric? I’d love to hear from you!
